About

The UT Austin-Amazon Science Hub, launched in 2023, is a world-class partnership dedicated to advancing research in a variety of areas including information retrieval, machine learning and robotics. Together, we create an environment for local, regional, national and international participants to accelerate the advancement of science and solve challenges of societal and real-world impact.

Our Pillars of Collaboration

By fostering collaboration between students, faculty and Amazon partners, we create an environment for participants to accelerate scientific knowledge and solve big challenges facing society. The UT Austin-Amazon Science Hub is built around three collaborative pillars:

Technical Ambassadors

Our technical ambassadors are comprised of representatives from UT who strengthen technical connections within the hub. Together with UT and Amazon leadership, they provide strategic direction and governance of the Hub.
